WSA Condenser Shell – Installation Site

The WSA condenser shell at the installation site is the main structural component of the condenser, designed to support the heat-transfer module and provide the required process connections for cooling process gas and condensing sulfuric acid in the WSA system.

Description

The WSA condenser shell is designed to accommodate the heat-transfer module and provide the necessary process connections within the Wet Gas Sulfuric Acid (WSA) system.

Depending on the project configuration, the shell may include process nozzles, flanged connections, support structures, condensate discharge connections, and other structural components.

Fabrication of the shell includes cutting, forming, and welding of the metal components. After fabrication, dimensional inspection, weld quality inspection, and leak-tightness testing are carried out in accordance with project documentation and quality requirements.

The shell material, overall dimensions, wall thickness, nozzle arrangement, and connection type are determined according to the process medium, operating conditions, process gas parameters, and specific WSA project requirements.
