The lower tube sheet is a critical component of the condenser used in the Wet Gas Sulfuric Acid (WSA) process.
It is manufactured as a one-piece monolithic plate to provide structural integrity and dimensional stability. The holes for the heat-exchange tubes are precision-machined using CNC equipment, ensuring uniform center-to-center spacing, high dimensional accuracy, and reliable alignment during condenser assembly.
After machining and inspection, the metal surface is protected with an internal corrosion-resistant lining. Specialized lining materials from DuPont (USA) or Daikin (Japan) can be used according to project requirements. Additional thermal treatment is applied where required to improve corrosion resistance and dimensional stability. The tube sheet dimensions, hole pattern, lining material, and configuration can be customized according to WSA condenser drawings and specific process conditions.
