The inner surface of the WSA condenser top cover is protected with a modified fluoropolymer coating specially designed for concentrated sulfuric acid service. The coating provides excellent resistance to corrosion, aging, and chemical attack, helping protect the steel structure during long-term operation.
The protective layer is formed using a controlled spray-forming process to achieve a continuous, smooth, and uniform surface. The coating thickness can be customized according to project requirements and specific operating conditions.
During site installation, the coated top cover is lifted, positioned, aligned, and secured in accordance with approved project drawings and lifting procedures. Special care is taken during handling to prevent mechanical damage to the protective lining and sealing surfaces.
After installation, the top cover, flange connections, sealing surfaces, and related interfaces are inspected to ensure correct positioning, reliable sealing, and readiness for subsequent commissioning.
