Description

The Fluoropolymer Mesh Demister for WSA Knockout Drum is manufactured from high-quality fluoropolymer resin supplied by Daikin, Japan. It is designed to separate fine acid mist and entrained liquid droplets from process gas while maintaining stable performance under highly corrosive and elevated-temperature conditions.
  • Mesh Construction: The main demister element is woven from modified fluoropolymer monofilaments with a diameter of approximately 0.25–0.30 mm, forming a uniform mesh structure. The mesh configuration and overall dimensions can be customized according to the internal structure and operating requirements of the knockout drum.
  • Temperature Resistance: The demister can operate continuously at temperatures up to approximately 200°C, with a maximum short-term temperature resistance of up to 250°C, subject to the actual fluoropolymer grade and operating conditions.
  • Resistance to Deposit Formation: Under suitable WSA operating conditions, the fluoropolymer surface helps reduce adhesion and solid deposit formation from acid mist, supporting stable gas flow and long-term operation. The demister dimensions, mesh density, installation structure, and material grade can be customized according to equipment drawings, gas composition, operating temperature, pressure drop requirements, and separation efficiency requirements.
