Lifting and Installation of WSA Condenser Coated Top Cover

The inner surface of the WSA condenser top cover is lined with a modified fluoropolymer material specially selected for resistance to concentrated sulfuric acid. The protective layer can withstand operating temperatures of up to approximately 150°C and provides excellent resistance to aging, abrasion, and chemical corrosion. A controlled rotational spray-forming process is used to produce a continuous and uniform protective layer on the inner surface of the top cover. After forming, the coating surface remains smooth and even, with a typical thickness of approximately 0.8 mm.

Description

The inner surface of the WSA condenser top cover is lined with a modified fluoropolymer material specially selected for resistance to concentrated sulfuric acid. The protective layer can withstand operating temperatures of up to approximately 150°C and provides excellent resistance to aging, abrasion, and chemical corrosion. A controlled rotational spray-forming process is used to produce a continuous and uniform protective layer on the inner surface of the top cover. After forming, the coating surface remains smooth and even, with a typical thickness of approximately 0.8 mm.
The fluoropolymer layer provides strong adhesion to the metal substrate, helping prevent peeling or delamination during long-term operation. This ensures reliable corrosion protection and contributes to the service life and operational safety of the condenser top cover. During installation, the coated top cover is positioned and secured according to approved project drawings and technical requirements. Special care is taken to protect the coating, sealing surfaces, and flange interfaces from mechanical damage. Coating material, thickness, dimensions, and installation configuration can be customized according to specific WSA condenser designs and operating conditions.
