WSA Condenser Lifting and Installation

Lifting and installation of the WSA condenser are critical stages in the construction of a Wet Gas Sulfuric Acid (WSA) plant.

Before installation begins, the foundation condition, installation openings, lifting capacity of the hoisting equipment, and conformity of the condenser with project documentation are carefully verified.

The main installation activities include:

Assembly of the main condenser components
Preparation of the equipment for lifting
Lifting and transfer of the condenser into position
Placement of the condenser on the designated foundation
Alignment and verticality inspection
Fixing of the condenser shell and installation of support components
Preparation of connections to process gas ducts and sulfuric acid piping
Inspection of the shell, internal lining, and glass tubes after installation

During installation, impact loads, twisting, and any mechanical damage to the glass tubes, internal lining, sealing surfaces, and connection components must be avoided.

Assembly, lifting, and installation are carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with project documentation, installation procedures, and applicable industrial safety requirements.

The required lifting capacity, installation method, equipment dimensions, type of lifting machinery, and work sequence are determined separately for each project.
